How to get funding

Thanks to the generous support of our various sponsors, many of our programs and sessions can be accessed for free or for a reduced price.

Bendigo Bank

Bendigo Bank are SALT’s foundation partners, they also help fund sessions throughout local Victorian communities.

Clubs who bank with Bendigo Bank can access this funding by approaching their branch and putting in a request.

If your club doesn’t bank with Bendigo Bank, it’s worthwhile visiting your local branch to discover the ways that they can support your club by chatting to the board member in charge of the sponsorship program.

If you require further advocacy for your request, please suggest the local board member make contact with the Bendigo Bank/SALT representatives:

Stuart Greig – 0459 922 221
Carly Kluge – 0417 592 732

Community Bank Inner East (Bendigo Bank)

Community Bank Inner East has provided funding for community sporting clubs to host one SALT program at their club.

The cost of the program will be covered by Community Bank Inner East. There are a limited number of programs available each year.

Sporting clubs must be based in the area serviced by the four Community Bank Inner East branches (Ashburton, Canterbury, Balwyn and Surrey Hills)  and hold their banking with them.

Clubs are encouraged to complete this form to apply for the funding.

Freemasons

Freemasons Victoria have subsidised the cost of clubs to complete the Champions of Change course for just $250.00.

The Champions of Change course helps clubs to create welcoming environments for women and girls, and to recognise the importance of enabling women and girls to access sport and be treated as equals.

Topics covered include the rise and impact of women’s sports, the barriers that exist, examples of ally behaviours around gender equality, and creating a club where all people feel welcomed and respected.

To access the subsidised Champions of Change program, contact us directly. Please note there are limited spots available!
