Potential facilitators must be dynamic communicators, great listeners and excellent conversational facilitators. They must have a passion for people and they need to convey this authentically. Knowledge and experience in the subjects listed below is a great start, but willingness to learn and work hard is even more essential. Teaching or other relevant qualifications are also preferred but not essential.
Creating Clubs with Heart, Wellbeing and Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol, Respect and Equality, Empowerment for Women, Healthy Masculinity, Positive Sports Parenting, Positive Coaching, Peer Group Pressure and Decision Making.
Facilitators work as contractors and are well remunerated. They work outside of normal employment hours so they can maintain their normal jobs and are typically available 2 nights a week. Each session generally lasts between 60-90 minutes.
Successful candidates will undertake an online training course and pass a practical teaching test.
