HEALTHY MASCULINITY
(MALE ONLY 15-19)

This session is designed to assist young males who have accepted a limited and often negative impression of what it is to be a man. This challenges young men to discover a new clarity and conviction regarding healthy manhood. We will explore the pressures from society about what it means to be a ‘real’ man, how these impact the health and well-being of men and boys, and how rigid stereotypes contribute to violence against women, men, and oneself. We will also look for opportunities to remove pressures that limit access, opportunity, or growth of any individual.

“The boys all really enjoyed the Healthy Masculinity session and felt like they got something out of it. I would highly recommend it.”
