Hey! I’m Tessa Kinsella and I am a big believer in the only reason refrigerators have a light is for the purpose of midnight snacks. On a more serious note, I am absolutely thrilled to be presenting for SALT. When I’m not running awesome workshops for SALT, I am the resident “wacky” drama teacher at a secondary school in the Yarra Valley. My students assure me that being wacky is a side effect of being awesome. I want to inspire kids to be the best version of themselves and utilise the resources around them. I am passionate about what we do here at SALT because of the issues many kids have regarding mental illnesses and wellbeing. Growing up, my own soccer club was like my family and supported me through my 2-year stint playing for the VCFA Women’s State team as well as many personal challenges I faced during my younger years.
