Hi, my name is Oscar and I’ve been involved with and passionate about sporting clubs my entire life as a player, a junior coach and as an administrator at the Hawthorn Football Club guiding the development of our inclusion teams and its athletes. My education background and current work has fostered a deep passion for helping young people become more resilient and aware of their mental health and wellbeing. I truly believe sporting clubs play a vital role in achieving this through their ability to connect and unite a diverse range of people who care for one another. I’m so grateful and proud to represent SALT who deliver such impactful programs in the sporting community. In my own time, I love to head down to the beach as often as possible and continue to improve my surfing.
One fun fact about me is I once stood on the head of a brown snake in my bathroom in the middle of the night and managed to escape without being bitten!
