Hi, I’m James (Collingwood) Gallacher. I was once a young Science teacher and now have over 25 years of experience in the public and not for profit sectors.
Like every person, I have a story. My story is black and white and is also personal, confronting, emotional and challenging. However, through all my ups and downs, I have learned to appreciate the power of building personal resilience. A father of amazing middle school aged twins, who also are passionate from date of birth for the Mighty Pies; in fact we have a therapy dog called Maggy. You guessed it, she is black and white and side-by-side we stick together.
I am a Director at a career transition and executive coaching organisation, and I am also a lead facilitator at Roses in the Ocean, Australia’s leading organisation for lived experience of suicide prevention. At SALT, I have been a facilitator for nearly two years and a supportive and knowledgeable moderator in the SALT online lunchbox sessions.
